Johan Park

Johan is currently studying towards a PGCE with a specialization in Mathematics and EMS in Further Education and Training and Senior Phase respectively. Johan completed an Industrial Engineering degree at the University of Pretoria and a Masters in English Language Teaching at Assumption University in Bangkok. He has been teaching mathematics and English to language learners in Southeast Asia for over a decade. He describes himself as a dynamic, caring and fun-loving teacher who is focused on students’ needs and their learning. He is passionate about helping my students succeed and his ultimate aim is to help students overcome their fear of mathematics. He believes in building their confidence by laying a strong foundation and guiding them through challenging concepts using a scaffolded approach. He cater for different learning styles, whether visual, auditory, verbal or kinesthetic.
